I tried switching from .NET 2.0 to mono 2.0 for the compiler and I get the following error: c:\Program Files\SharpDevelop\3.0\bin\SharpDevelop.Build.Mono.Mbas.targets(85,9) : Error MSB6006: ''Mbas.exe'' exited with code 2.Build finished successfully. The Mono guys have created a new VB.NET compiler vbnc which looks like it is a part of Mono 1.2.3 so I may look into updating SharpDevelop to use this instead. I also haveinstalled the vbnc compiler ver. 0.0.0.5058.

It is still a work in progress. If I run MSBuild from the command line I see:Cannot open assembly C:\PROGRA~1\Mono\lib\mono\1.0\mbas.exe.And sure enough mbas.exe is not there.
