I've got access to the files but to test the changes I've got to quit the rescue mode and restart the server. Might it be a java error somewhere/somehow as I'm using Oracle Java v8, and I see Java 7 is advised. This will be useful during rescue process of a system. To fix this problem you need to upgrade mkinitrd package.
