In most of my Projects I use a structure similar to this: Code: Select all ZConnection1.Connect;
ZConnection1.StartTransaction;
try
[do someting]
ZConnection1.Commit;
except
Database.Commit should do this before.QPromett.CommitUpdates;QPromet.CommitUpdates; Michael King regards, MichaelYou want to help? Patyi. Query Cannot Perform This Operation On A Closed Dataset

Use the new bugtracker dude! Note: I think it is possible to combine this with the mapping program to make a "circuit" of training, auto walking through spawn sites and killing with triggers, etc, and making http://www.gameaxle.com/cgi-bin/index.pl - the thing is called "Portal" and looks to contain more features than seem possible. _________________wonko* [*some assembler required] Back to top Display posts from previous: All Posts1 Day7 Days2 For me personally would it be the best help if you are able to add a test to our testsuites directly.

Sometimes you can get it started again by using run as administrator and sometimes it just needs to sit a little. No way to reproduce the issue.i use this code:Code: Select allprocedure TZTestMasterDetailCase.TestClientDatasetWithForeignKey_ApplyUpdates;
var
SQLMonitor: TZSQLMonitor;
I: Integer;

procedure SetTheData(Index: Integer);
begin
MasterQuery.Append;
Maybe you can help me here? I have already gone to the Database Admin and ran the Data repair and completed the repair data now and it didn't help.

For example, if the Target field is "C:\ZMUD\ZMUD.EXE" then make sure the "Start In:" field is set to "C:\ZMUD". Use the new bugtracker dude! I actually have no idea why it works or why it does that closed data set thing.

This should work. But, it tolerates it s'long as you're the administrator of the comp.

SimpleMU gets "tired" - by that I mean, if it is in memory for long periods of time the capability of your system decreases measurably. It seems OpenOffice damaged the file. –systemovich Jul 21 '11 at 14:03 | show 2 more comments 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted As per Top EgonHugeist Zeos Dev Team Posts: 1700 Joined: 31.03.2011, 22:38 Quote Postby EgonHugeist » 19.08.2012, 19:23 patyit, having a test-case would be fine.

I confirmed the issue is gone, at list on Lazarus 1.1, FPC 2.6.1, on XUbuntu, Win XP and Win 7 tested with my live multiplatform application. "Unfortunately" I don't have Delphi

did you try opening the dataset if the operation cannot be performed on a closed dataset? –Cosmin Prund Jul 21 '11 at 10:31 How do I open it? Just click the button below and start playing immediately! But I wonder why the Connection would do anything to an inactive Query and why it does this after the commit? Reopen DataLog and create a new sale to ensure that DataLog works properly. It saves its maps as a database which can be edited with Microsoft Access.
