Recommended only on Windows XP. check over here Changing the renderer may sometimes help improve playback smoothness.

From what I've tested so far (Server is still scanning my library), everything seems to be working fine now. It looks like the standard(default) setting for movies is 21:9. Animated subtitles (such as found in some anime videos) may not display correctly with this option disabled, but such subtitles are rare. No install fonts option in file menu 5.

cannot copy audio stream in avi file 13. May not be the solution but a temporary work-around. EDIT: @CBers , yes that guide is how I set up my filters before I reformatted, and had the same problem. This causes for example the voices (center channel) to be almost unhearable.The solution is to downmix the 5.1 channels into 2 channels.
