This problem occurs for me whenever I run one specific game full screen, switch to windowed mode from the game, minimize, then attempt to restore. I get the depressed button in the taskbar, and that's it. I can get to those windows by choosing Cascade Windows or one of those other options but I can't open them when I click on the application. Well it has happened for me and after hours and hours of searching, I didn't find a single solution which will make the problem go away.
