I have some shady suspicions that the problem happened while having low free disk space on my main HDD. Flickr hope it worked! I vaguely recalled this syntax when setting up the application but yoursuggestions triggered my memory.

Glad this was a toggleable setting in Explorer's 'Folder options' page, so no fiddling with obscure registry hacks or installing software.
