Thanks again for all the help along the way. I had a connection but couldn't browse at all. so here is an update...the internet works always when i have to connect through the browser portal with a username and password. 90% of the time it will connect but the I of course should be able to update the drivers from Control Panel->System->Device Manager-> Hardware, but since I can't get online I don't think I can update them that way. http://superuser.com/questions/450619/xp-pings-router-but-cant-ping-the-internet

It would seen installing XP Mode on the "Server" & moving the Share to the "XP Mode Server" &mapping a drive to this share, would haveallof the"Virtual Machine"onthe same segment, butdifferent I can't believe it was causing all of these problems.
